REVERSE VARIETY. RIC describes camp-gate on reverses of ROMA 5a-8b as having three forward turrets (no small turrets between them) and only two small turrets (instead of three) between two turrets behind. See examples of ROMA 7a, ROMA 8a and ROMA 8b. However, the present variant should be known to Sutherland because it is shown on example of ROMA 6b from plate 6 in RIC.
