UNLISTED FOR RULER. RIC lists this issue only for Severus and Maximinus (p. 497). General note from p. 488: "Very rare silver is known, for Severus and Maximinus [...]. The reverse type of both varieties is Virtus Militum (three-tureted gate, open, without doors), as in Groups I and II. Weight appears to remain at c. 3.3. gm.". Coin should be listed after SERDICA 22.

Argenteus. Weight 2.85 g; diameter 19-20 mm. Sold on eBay in December 2011 for $300. Note that the owner, an experienced German collector, is conviced that this coin is not an imitation. For the present author it is still a matter of dispute.
