NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED FOR RULER. Depeyrot 10/5. RIC lists this type only for Maximinus (MAXIMINVS NOB C) (p. 472). General note about this issue from p. 448: "In Period 2 there is no gold recorded for Galerius. Severus, promoted Augustus, and now controlling Siscia, has a unique Virtus Augg et Caes (emperor with trophy and captives), shared with Maximinus, who also receives the same legend with equestrian type. The Virtus symbolism is that which appears with emphasis at Ticinum and Aquileia when Severus first faces the gathering threat of Maxentius' revolt and receives Galerius' orders to quell it". Coin should be listed before SISCIA 155.
